BACK IN TOWN

Yes, there are some new shirts!

I'm back in Savannah, and will be back at the POETRY CO-OP OPEN MIC, which is every Monday at 7:00 pm at the WATER WITCH TIKI BAR.

And as long as it is not too hot or too wet (and yes, humidity counts), I plan to be in the Artists Market at Forsyth Park on Saturdays.

Meet Me at The Water Witch!

Marc Thomas at the Water Witch Tiki Bar

It's a damp and chilly Sunday, and it will not be drier tomorrow, but I still am looking forward to the warm company and stimulating poetry at the Poetry Co-Op Open Mic tomorrow at the Water Witch Tiki Bar.

Need to get some good words in before the St. Patrick's Day break.

As usual, sign in begins at 6:30, and Poetry begins around 7:00.

Great Time at the Open Mic

Poetry Co-Op Open Mic at the Water Witch Tiki Bar was great last night. Thirteen poets read, including a couple for their first time at an open mic.

Poets in alphabetical order: Amy, Anthony, Beau, Carri, Claribel, Darriea, Eli, Kristin, Lila, Lucy, Marc, Naomi and Trinity.

We played a poetry game called "Did You Ever" - those three words are the prompt and the first words. Everyone got 3x5 cards and a pen, added their own short lines, and I read all the poems at the end - a community memory and reflection.

Thanks to Darriea for taking the picture again.
